Commodore Amit Rastogi(Retd), is the Chairman & Managing Director of National Research Development Corporation, a section 8 company under the Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi, since 18th Oct 21.
Prior to taking over his appointment as CMD, he had an illustrious career in Indian Navy for 34 years. He is a B.Tech. (Electrical Engineering) from JNU, New Delhi, and is an alumnus of the Institute of Armament Technology (Deemed University), Pune where besides-completing an Advance Naval Weapon System Engineering Course, he obtained Masters's degree in Electronics & Tele-Communication from Poona University in 1994. He is also a distinguished alumnus of DefenceServices Staff College Wellington and College of Defence Management, Secunderabad. He also holds M.Sc. (Defence& Strategic Studies) from Madras University.
