EXPRESS HEALTHCARE: G20 Pre-Summit Meetings

The Pulsus Group recently made headlines with the successful launch of the preliminary meetings for the G20 Affordable and Accessible Healthcare Summit series. This influential gathering took place in two key global hubs: Zurich, Switzerland and Rome, Italy on July 17 and 18. At the heart of these discussions were renowned global leaders in primary healthcare and stem cell research.

Vinay Tendulkar, a Member of the Rajya Sabha, and Dr. Sandesh Yadav, a member of the Ministry of Civil Aviation (AAC), lent further gravity to these pre-summit dialogues with their visit to Pulsus Group's Hyderabad headquarters. Their insightful contributions focused on India's substantial role in advancing affordable and accessible healthcare on a worldwide scale. They also expressed their enthusiastic support for the G20 Global Tech and Affordable Healthcare Summit initiative, lauding its innovative approach and transformative potential.

Dr. Srinubabu Gedela, the convenor and driving force behind the summit, took the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Hyderabad pre-meeting served as a precursor to the main event and featured some notable highlights. Dr. Palmer delivered a thought-provoking presentation on current cancer trends and the challenges associated with them from a G20 perspective. Simultaneously, Paulo Cezar Schutz shared critical insights into the role of the G20 in facilitating accessible healthcare, a timely discussion given Brazil's upcoming G20 presidency.

This vibrant gathering, attended by around 200 delegates predominantly from G20 countries, sparked engaging global dialogues and presented an array of perspectives on pressing healthcare issues. Dr. Gedela, the co-convenor of these meetings, expressed his anticipation for the upcoming official inauguration of the G20 Affordable and Accessible Healthcare Summit series, set to take place in Delhi.

In the wake of India's ascension to the G20 presidency, the country is gearing up to showcase its remarkable technological capabilities and its potential to pioneer ground-breaking advancements.
