LEADER NEWS: G20 Pre-summit Meetings

As we usher in the era of India's presidency of the G20, it's our endeavor to leverage India's exceptional technological acumen and potential for innovation, articulated Dr. Srinubabu Gedela, Co-Convenor of the Global Tech Summit Series, and CEO of Pulsus Group. He announced the successful commencement of preliminary meetings for the G20 Affordable Healthcare Summit Series, an initiative steered by Pulsus Group.

These meetings were held in the culturally rich and architecturally inspiring cities of Zurich, Switzerland, and Rome, Italy, on July 17 and 18. The sessions brought together an elite cohort of global leaders in primary healthcare and stem cell research, and set the stage for what promises to be thought-provoking dialogues in the field of global health.

Looking ahead, Dr. Gedela expressed the anticipation surrounding the formal inauguration of the G20 Affordable and Accessible Healthcare Summit series in Delhi, an event that is keenly awaited by all stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.

At the heart of Pulsus Group's mission, he said, is a commitment that extends beyond technological advancement. "Our summits epitomize our pledge not only to stimulate technological growth but also to achieve a more ambitious goal - making healthcare globally accessible and affordable for all," he stressed.

The pre-meetings were graced by the presence of Vinay Tendulkar, a member of the Rajya Sabha, and Dr. Sandesh Yadav. During their visit to Pulsus' Hyderabad office, they shared valuable perspectives on India's role in spearheading universally accessible healthcare. Their insightful contributions significantly enriched the discourse at the Global Tech and Healthcare Summits.

Dr. Gedela extended his deepest gratitude to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for their relentless support in furthering these crucial initiatives. Their leadership and commitment have been instrumental in helping drive the momentum for these global healthcare improvement programs.

The pre-meetings featured a host of keynote presentations. Dr. Dame Cali Palmer illuminated current cancer trends and challenges from a G20 standpoint. Paulo César Schutz provided crucial insights on the G20's role in healthcare, especially as Brazil prepares for its upcoming presidency. These presentations and discussions emerged as significant highlights of the pre-meetings.

Attended by nearly 200 delegates, predominantly from G20 countries, the preliminary meetings served as a robust platform for global debate, fostering an environment conducive for rich discussions and the exchange of diverse perspectives on healthcare. The next steps in this journey hold much promise for transformative changes in healthcare.
