The Pulsus Group, located in Hyderabad, has received the greatest number of seat assignments through the Indian BPO Promotion Scheme (IBPS), which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the Digital India Programme. Pulsus Group has created 5,000 job opportunities in Visakhapatnam, with a focus on promoting gender diversity, as 75% of these positions are filled by women. Furthermore, the Central government has granted a viability gap funding of Rs 41 crore to support this initiative. Omics International, a subsidiary of Pulsus Group, has invested Rs 440 crore to strengthen the IBPS scheme. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) is spearheading this scheme, which has established a total of 48,300 BPO/ITeS seats across the country and has received a budgetary allocation of Rs 543 crore to catalyze sectoral growth. Pulsus Group's Founder and CEO, Srinubabu Gedela, expressed their deep honor at playing a pivotal role in the success of the Indian Business Promotion Scheme, emphasizing their commitment to driving India's digital transformation. Over the past 15 years, Pulsus Group has been instrumental in generating approximately 25,000 jobs, and the IBPS scheme has further accelerated job creation in rural areas, particularly benefiting women. Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, hailed this achievement as a testament to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of fostering employment opportunities in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
