Pulsus Group, headquartered in Hyderabad, has achieved a significant milestone by securing the highest number of seat allocations under the Indian Business Promotion Scheme (IBPS). This scheme, part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India Programme, aims to promote the digital transformation of India's business process outsourcing sector. As a result, Pulsus Group has created 5,000 job opportunities in Visakhapatnam, with 75% of these positions being filled by women employees. The government has also provided Rs. 41 Crore in viability gap funding to support this initiative. Pulsus Group's company, Omics International, has played a crucial role in reaching this milestone by investing Rs. 440 Crore in promoting the scheme. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology of India, has praised this achievement and expressed the government's interest in extending the program further. The IBPS Scheme has established 48,300 BPO/ITeS seats nationwide, with a budgetary allocation of Rs. 543 Crore for sectoral growth. Dr. Srinubabu Gedela, Founder and CEO of Pulsus Group, expressed his pride in the company's contribution to employment generation and economic growth in India. The scheme has also accelerated job creation in rural areas and for women. Venumbaka Vijayasai Reddy, Member of Parliament, highlighted the positive impact of the scheme on women's employment in rural India. Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), commended Pulsus Group for their significant contribution to women's employment under this scheme. Overall, the IBPS has created a total of 50,000 employment opportunities, with Pulsus Group contributing 5,000 jobs.
