The science and art of identifying and treating illnesses, injuries, and diseases is known as medicine. Although medicine has been since antiquity, the most of its advancements have taken place in the last few decades. Many diseases and illnesses can now be identified, treated, and even cured thanks to medical advancements. Even so, there are still a lot of illnesses and diseases that cannot be cured because medicine is a discipline that is always changing. Medical research is a continual process, and scientists and doctors are always looking for novel treatments and cures.

MRI and CT scans are now used to identify tumours and other malignancies and have developed into crucial diagnostic tools for diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. The development of minimally invasive techniques has also had a significant impact on medicine.

Speaker Guidelines

Organize Your Research

  1. List your research's hypothesis and objectives.
  2. Explain the research techniques you used.
  3. Provide the information gathered and the findings
  4. Draw judgements based on the information gathered.
  5. Be sure to highlight the research's main points and significance.

Shape Your Presentation

  1. Make sure your notes highlight the key aspects of your speech.
  2. Both your slide sequence and your talk's delivery should be practised. Make sure your speech matches the allowed time.
  3. Simple sentences are best. Steer clear of specialist terminology, jargon, and unfamiliar acronyms.
  4. Prepare your responses to any questions you may be asked. Talk should be amplified by the audio-visuals, not repeated.
  5. If it isn't directly related to your research, don't integrate any music, movie clips, or other copyrighted content with your presentation. If you must use music, movie clips, or other similar content, be sure it is either open source or that you have the right to use it under copyright.
  6. Display your work as best you can; avoid using words when a picture will suffice (graphs, tables, charts, etc.).
  7. Employ pie graphs to represent relative sections of a whole; line graphs to indicate trends; bar graphs to compare magnitudes.
A clear, uncluttered, and easily readable supporting audio-visual should be included. You should use a font that is at least eighteen points or bigger. This is crucial when making presentations to an online audience.
